The 2025 Hyundai Tucson debuts with a stylish mid-cycle makeover, boasting new technological advancements and a refresh in design.
Hyundai has unveiled the refreshed 2025 Tucson, presenting an evolution in style and technology that marks the midpoint of this generation. On the outside, the updated Tucson features a revamped grille, newly designed front and rear bumpers, and an enhanced daytime running light configuration that extends the illumination area. Additional updates include novel wheel patterns, an enlarged rear wiper for improved visibility, and a refreshed anodized finish on the badges. The XRT variant further distinguishes itself with elevated roof rails, enhancing its rugged demeanor.
Under the hood, the Tucson maintains its existing powertrain lineup with a notable enhancement to the Hybrid model, which now benefits from a stronger electric motor — boosting its output from 59 to 64 horsepower for a combined 231 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The base model continues with the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, delivering 187 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque, while the PHEV variant remains the powerhouse with 268 horsepower and the same torque figure. A noteworthy addition for 2025 is the "Baby Mode," designed to soften acceleration for a smoother ride, prioritizing the comfort of all passengers.
